What this site knows about you

No cookies. Nothing is written to your browser, so there is no banner here asking you to agree to anything.

When you open a page I record the page, roughly where the request came from (city and country — your network already tells my server that), what kind of device and browser you used, which site sent you, how long the page was open and how far down it you got. In the room I also count which of the numbered stops get opened, so I know which parts are worth building on.

I never store your IP address.To count people without knowing who they are, the address and browser are mashed together with a secret and today's date into a string that can't be turned back. It changes every day, so it can tell me two people came from Kathmandu today and never this person came back.

There is no session recording. Nobody is watching your mouse move or reading over your shoulder, and nothing you type is captured as you type it.

If you write to me — the contact form, or the phone in the room — then of course I keep what you sent: your name, your email, your message, and anything you attached. That part is a letter, not analytics. It goes to me and nobody else, it is never sold or shared, and you can ask me to delete it any time and I will.

No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers of any kind. The counting is my own code on my own server.
